What we offer

  • Enrolment in a PhD programme: Doctoral Candidates (DCs) will carry out a doctoral thesis within the framework of the MSCA-DN project RENOVATE.
  • Employment contract: DCs will be appointed under a 36-month employment contract covering living expenses. The gross salary will follow the MSCA living allowance, adjusted according to the country correction coefficient to account for local cost of living and statutory charges in the host institution’s country.
  • Access to research facilities: DCs will be provided with dedicated workspaces and full access to state-of-the-art research infrastructures essential for the successful completion of their projects.
  • Research expenses covered: All bench fees and consumable costs required for the execution of the research activities will be fully covered by the recruiting institutions.
  • Fully funded training activities: All expenses associated with training, including travel and accommodation for annual meetings and other events organized within the network, will be financed through the Horizon Europe MSCA-DN grant.
  • Transnational and intersectoral mobility: DCs will engage in secondments to partner institutions within the RENOVATE Doctoral Network, thereby enhancing their training, interdisciplinary exposure, and research outcomes.

Degree

Must hold a Master’s degree (or an equivalent qualification that provides access to a PhD programme).

Doctoral Status

Must not have been awarded a doctoral degree at the time of recruitment.

Nationality

May be of any nationality.

Mobility Rule

Must meet the mobility eligibility criterion: candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting organisation for more than 12 months within the 36 months immediately before the recruitment date.
